Daredevil Canceled: What Happened to Born Again?
Daredevil: Born Again will end with its upcoming third season, which is currently scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in 2027.
- Season 3 will be the show’s final season, despite the series previously receiving an official renewal for a third season.
- Production on Season 3 has already wrapped, with the series now moving through post-production.
- Showrunner Dario Scardapane is leaving after his contract was not renewed, with reports saying his departure came during post-production.
Daredevil Canceled: Is Marvel Replacing Its TV Strategy?
The ending of Born Again comes as Marvel appears to be rethinking its live-action television slate, while another spy-focused project has reportedly entered development.
- Marvel has reportedly greenlit a new spy thriller currently being referred to as Zodiac, although details about the project remain limited.
- Yelena Belova has become an increasingly important part of the MCU through Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Thunderbolts, making her a natural character for future spy-focused stories.
- A Yelena-led spy series is not currently confirmed as an official Marvel announcement, so reports and speculation about such a project should be treated separately from confirmed Marvel projects.
