Homelander Is Dead But the Way It Happens Changes Everything
The finale opens with the team burying Frenchie, whose death in episode 7 hits everyone hard, especially Kimiko, whose grief quietly unlocks something enormous.
- The experiments Frenchie ran on Kimiko before he died worked, and she now has the ability to blast Supes and strip them of their powers completely.
- The Boys descend on the White House where Homelander is giving his Easter address, declaring himself a prophet and threatening to kill anyone who opposes him live on national television.
- Hughie and Mother’s Milk take out Oh Father while Ashley, in one of the finale’s most surprising turns, helps the team from inside the building.
- Homelander dies in the Oval Office in a moment that involves Ryan, Kimiko, Butcher, and the rest of the team all playing a part, and it’s exactly as brutal and messy and earned as the show always promised it would be.
